How to remove links from your watch
How to Adjust Your Watch Band
Follow these simple steps to adjust your watch band for a perfect fit:
What You¡¯ll Need:
- Watch adjustment tool (or small pin pusher)
- Pliers or tweezers (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
-
Locate the Arrows
Open the band and look for the small arrows on the inside of the links near the clasp. These indicate the direction to remove the pins. -
Align the Tool
Position your watch adjustment tool so it lines up with the pin in the direction of the arrow. -
Remove the Pin
Gently push the pin out using the tool, following the arrow¡¯s direction. Once the pin is partially out (about 2mm), pull it out completely from the opposite side using your fingers or tweezers. -
Remove Links as Needed
Repeat this process to remove as many links as necessary to achieve the desired fit.
? Tip: To keep the band centered and balanced, remove the same number of links from both sides of the clasp.
-
Reattach the Band
When reconnecting the links, identify the pin¡¯s thicker end. Insert the thinner end first-going in the same direction the pin was removed. -
Secure the Pin
Use your tool to gently push the pin back into place until it sits flush with the link.
